Pittsburgh did it in 1960 and the Florida Panthers did it in 1996. For the expansion Pittsburgh Penguins, they defeated the Oakland Seals winning all four games winning the series 4-0. As for the Florida Panthers, in the 1996 NHL playoffs, the Florida Panthers were seeded at #4 while the Boston Bruins were ranked at #5. The Panthers advanced to the next round by winning games 1, 2, 3, and 5.
