With temperatures soaring into the mid-80s, Beantown celebrated Patriot’s Day with the 115th annual Boston Marathon and a Red Sox home game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Fenway Park yesterday afternoon.
Pathetically, like always, the joyous event was marred by idiots who partook in drunkenstreet brawls throughout the city.

Former Boston Red Sox manager and current ESPN baseball analyst Terry Francona said Thursday on “The Michael Kay Show” that he won’t attend the 100th celebration at Fenway Park next week.
Francona, who led the Red Sox to World Series titles in the 2004 and 2007 seasons, also told Kay he regrets making comments Wednesday to The Boston Globe regarding his unceremonious departure from Beantown last autumn.
