Former WWE Champion Inks New Full Time Deal
Former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) has just announced via his official Facebook page that he has signed a full-time deal with the WWE.
“Very happy WWE and I have worked out a deal for me to return on a full time basis. There came a need when my friend Jerry Lawler had a heart attack and was not able to work, however, I realized how much I enjoyed being back and this was the basis for my decision to return.”
As it stand right now JBL will join former Tough Enough contestant Josh Matthews to make up the Smackdown announce team. While the status of the Raw announce team is unsure one would think Jim “JR” Ross would stick around until Jerry “The King” Lawler is in better health.
JBL would also be joining Michael Cole and Lawler for the foreseeable future on any and all pay-per-views.
