Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that his leagues sources have told them that Derek Fisher has reached an agreement with the Oklahoma City Thunder on a contract for the rest of the season.

While Fisher wasn’t the point guard that he used to be while in his prime with the Lakers, he was a viable back-up last season for Russell Westbrook while Eric Maynor was out. But flash forward to this season and I’m left scratching my head as to why the Thunder would trade away Maynor just to re-sign Fisher, especially after he suffered a knee injury earlier in the season.

I’m really unsure on how this will play out during the rest of the season, but I’d be shocked if Fisher’s play exceeds my expectations.
