Mid-Major Top 10 Poll (Week 5)

The Boise State Broncos continue their reign as the top non-BCS school in the country.  Their coming off a 41-21 home win over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.  TCU has put their heartbreaking week defeat to Baylor behind them winning 3 straight games.  They are right back in the mix among the elite non-AQ schools in the country.  Temple is off to a solid 3-1 start.  They had a big win at Maryland 38-7 last Saturday.  The Houston Cougars may not have the best defense in the country but they have already proved they are elite on the offensive side of the ball.  Case Keenum being healthy through the first few games have been key for the Cougars.  San Diego State had a tough 28-7 loss in the Big House to the Michigan Wolverines and their former coach Brady Hoke last week.  For the most part, they showed they can compete in a hostile enviroment and will be competing in the top 3-4 of the Mountain West Conference.
