- Kyle’s luck will run out during the chase, equipment troubles that have been following Logano and Hamlin will find Busch!!
- Jeff Gordon has the momentum right now. Consistency is what wins the chase.
- There is no reason or logic to explain my choices. Pure guessing. In fact, throwing darts at it would probably give me better results.
- Very tough for me to make these selections. I do believe that the top 6 are in a class by themselves, and the Champion will come from this group. Keselowski could potentially sneak into the top 5 by year’s end, but don’t quite see him taking it all. Very excited about the last ten races of the season… this has been the best that I can remember for a long time, and I’ve been a fan for 35 years. Kudos to NASCAR for the wild card, lucky dog, wave around, and for ‘Boys, have at it’. I really love our sport right now!
- Bottom line – Jeff Gordon will be your champion this year.
- Jimmie will complete his six-pack. KyBu will give him a great run for his money, but will have a serious engine issue which will cause him to be just a little short in the end. Carl will make a great run for it, but run out of steam and have a couple DNFs. Kenseth will quietly cruise into fourth place with consistent, though not stellar, performance.
Now, I must say I agree with some of the fans final results for the Chase but I do not agree with all of them! So I will finally announce my 2011 Chase Results for you!

I have chosen Kyle Busch to win the Championship for various reasons and one of them being that he has been dominate throughout the season and has committed few errors on the race track and I repeat ON THE RACE TRACK. The only thing that can possibly hold Kyle Busch back is himself, Rowdy Busch, and yes I mean the alter-ego that likes to play rougher and wreck. I have nothing against any of the drivers and the majority of them have shown why they deserve to be in the Chase.
I do not believe that Dale Jr. will be able to make a real run at the Championship simply because he wasn’t won a race yet this year and something always seems to go wrong for the 88 bunch and I know that Junior Nation simply will hate me now as well but the facts speak and they aren’t speaking highly of their respected driver.
I was shocked to see that a lot of people think Jimmie Johnson could win a 6th title but I do for see this happening this season. He hasn’t had the same dominating spirit as last year, his pit crew isn’t as perfect either and those are huge key factors in what could make or break your Chase title hopes.
Jeff Gordon is the only other driver that I could possibly see winning the Chase. I think that he and Kyle are going to duke it out and the best crew and driver along with strategy are going to win this year. Both drivers have proven that they are championship caliber teams.
