It's Tool Time! One Tool Believes He Can Help His Team..

2 Min Read

The New York Rangers are heading into Saturday looking to snap a two-game losing streak against the Phoenix Coyotes. The Rangers shouldn’t worry too much but yet, Sean Avery thinks that he is just what this teams needs more than ever. Honestly, I think this Tool has been hit one too many times to believe that he is the best player the Rangers have to offer.

I understand that he is frustrated to watch from the press bow or call 3:48 of ice time action. He’s been made a healthy scratch by coach John Tortorella the last three games. And John Tortorella isn’t buying into Sean Avery either which could be the best news for the Rangers.

“It’s definitely more frustrating,” Avery told the New York Post when asked how it felt to watch his team lose back-to-back games. “I know I can help.”

But his chances to help the Rangers on a consistent basis might have diminished even further with the expected return of Mike Rupp to Saturday’s lineup. The big forward’s been out since October with a knee injury.

Now this Tool will have to find another way to annoy myself and all my fellow “Tool Bag Haters” which we know that seeing him in the 24/7 episodes prove another way for Avery to run his mouth about things he won’t back up on the ice.

Stick to sitting in the Press Box, Avery!
