Le’Veon Bell’s Contract Demands Voiced In Rap Song

1 Min Read

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell isn’t being shy about what he believes he is worth.

Bell is in the final year of his rookie contract, which he’s scheduled to make only ~$1,311,100 which is 45th most-lucrative salary among current NFL running backs. Well, Bell is envisioning a new contract where he is paid accordingly, according to his self-valuation.

In a rap song called ‘Focus’ , Bell voiced some of his opinion regarding his pay. One line that stand out is: “I’m at the top and if not I’m the closest, I’ma need 15 a year and they know this.”

Whether or not the Steelers, or any other team, would be willing to pay Bell $15 million a year remains to be seen, but at least Bell has a value in his head to bring to the negotiating table during contract talks.
