There’s less than a week until the WWE Draft that will separate the company’s flagship programs Raw and Smackdown into exclusively separate rosters for the first time since the late 00’s.
The goal is to add some excitement to a product that desperately needs it. And despite the fact that many believe WWE’s overall roster is the weakest it’s been in some time, there are still others that feel this is exactly what the company needs to make new stars. Just look at what the last brand split did for the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton and Batista, among others. Who knows who may break out this time around.
Before getting started, let’s go over some rules.
- There will be 20 rounds total with wrestlers from Raw, SmackDown and NXT up for grabs
- HHH is not available to be drafted, nor is the Undertaker
- The Women’s and Tag Team Championships will be on both shows
- Tag Teams can be drafted together or separately, depending on the situation.
- No surprise picks
