After four months of separation Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant faced each other when the Oklahoma City Thunder took on the Golden State Warriors. The separation of the two former teammates have created bad blood and brought out some hard feelings to light. In the last four months, we have seen shots they’ve taken at each other.
Here a list of all of shots these two have thrown at each other:
1. Right after Durant made his decision about joining the Warriors, Westbrook posted the following picture on Instagram.
Seems like a harmless picture right? Well in a interview with Sports Illustrated, “Kendrick Perkins revealed the cupcakes meaning. When Kendrick Perkins played center for the Thunder, he called teammates “cupcake” if he thought they were acting a little soft. Westbrook and Durant adopted the term in jest.”
After knowing that, its easy to say Westbrook is not happy that Durant left the team and wanted to send out a subliminal message.
2. Kevin Durant took a shot at the whole entire team when he said, “I feel really grateful to play for a team like that and play with a bunch of players who are selfless and enjoy the game in its purest form. They make it about the players, they make it about the environment, so it was an really easy choice.”
Ouch…
After Westbrook heard Durant’s comment he stated “Thats cute.”
3. Fast forward to Nov. 3, Russell Westbrook arrived to the Oracle arena wearing a sports photographer outfit. 
Westbrook has a long history of crazy outfits, so this wouldn’t come as a surprise. The significance comes from Durants’ favorite past time. Photography has been one of Durants’ favorite hobbies and has written about photography even was credentialed to photograph Super Bowl 50.
While they have denied time and time again that they don’t have beef, all of these incidents make you think otherwise.
Before any games start before the tip-off. Players normally shake hands and greet each. This was not the case with Westbrook and Durant. They didn’t even greet each other. What does that tell you… If they didn’t have any beef why wouldn’t they greet each other.
The tension between the two continued during the game as well. They both played very aggressive blocked each other shots. But when Durant blocked Westbrook’s shot, Draymond Green picked up a technical foul for screaming in excitement.
The tension continued when Durant started talking to his former teammates on the bench:

The two teams will play again on Jan. 18. Will they still have beef or will they claim they are cool?
