Fantasy Football Buy Low/Sell High: Week 10

5 Min Read

We have got 2 more weeks until the trade deadline is upon us in most leagues & fantasy playoffs will be underway. If you’re looking for that guy to get rid of for more value than he’s worth, then you came to the right place. If you’re looking for a guy to get for cheap & that has potential to help your fantasy team to a championship, then you also may be in the right place. Here are some guys I believe could be had for less than his actual value or guys I’d get rid of for the most value you’re going to get for them.

Buy Lows:

Tevin Coleman (RB, Falcons): Coleman has been out the past couple weeks with an injury & his owners may be impatient on waiting for his return so they might bite on a trade that benefits in your favor. Coleman, once healthy again should step right back into his prominent role in the Falcons offense especially since Devonta Freeman didn’t really impress much while Coleman was out. Freeman in the 2 games without Coleman rushed 28 times for 112 yards & 1 touchdown. Coleman is expected to be back this week against the Eagles so this may be the lowest his value is so why not try low balling a Coleman owner?

Doug Baldwin (WR, Seahawks): Doug Baldwin has been a little disappointing this season. Baldwin hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 3 against the 49ers but on Monday night the Seahawks & Russell Wilson specifically looked like they had a better passing game. With Wilson getting more & more healthy that just increases the stock for Doug Baldwin. The only thing that worries me a bit is there’s a possibility the Seahawks are going to try & make Jimmy Graham the number 1 pass catcher in this offense but since the Seahawks can’t find a running game I look for them to continue to pass the ball at a high volume.

Sell Highs:

Devontae Booker (RB, Broncos): This is completely based on if who you’re trading with disregards his rough game against the Raiders, the fact he’s injured, or the fact Gary Kubiak mentioned getting Kapri Bibbs more touches. All those reasons are enough for me to sell, sell, sell on Booker who just a week or two ago was a buy low candidate. Although with all that being said I’m only trading Booker if I get a good return for him. If I’m a Booker owner I’m shopping him around or signing Kapri Bibbs to handcuff him.

Allen Robinson (WR, Jaguars): Robinson finally decided to have a Allen Robinson type of day on Sunday scoring 20 points in PPR leagues but of course I had him on my bench… Luckily I still won in that league so it didn’t hurt me. I’ve immediately started shopping around A Rob to see if anyone thinks this weeks points to him going upward because I’m not sold that he is going to return to being a top 5-10 fantasy WR the rest of the season like last year.

Matt Forte (RB, Jets): Yes, I know he’s great again the past 3 weeks but how long will that last? To me it’s not long before he’s completely splitting carries with Bilal Powell again or is injured or something. Forte started the year off by scoring 49 points in PPR formats & then went 4 straight weeks of scoring 8 or less points & since then has scored 16+ the past 3 weeks. I’m selling Forte in an offense that looks terrible & is struggling to get anything going but of course I would need a really good piece or pieces to get rid of him.
