Four Star John Bosco Safety Jaiden Woodbey Announces Final Four

Four Star John Bosco High School safety Jaiden Woodbey has narrowed down his final four and the Big Ten, Big 12 and PAC-12 are well represented. The Oklahoma Sooners, USC Trojans, Nebraska Cornhuskers and Ohio State Buckeyes round out his top four.

As it stands now, if USC were to get a commitment from Woodbey, his home state school, he would be the sixth 2018 commit, fourth defensive commit and second five star commit.

If he were to choose Oklahoma, he would become their fourth 2018 commit and third defensive commit.

Choosing to play football at Ohio State would make him the third commit of the Buckeyes 2018 class and their only defensive recruit.

Finally, If Jaiden Woodbey were to commit to Nebraska, they have two 2018 commits and he would be their second defensive commit.

As a junior this season, Woodbey won two championship games: the CIF Southern Section High School Football Playoff Championship vs Mater Dei Catholic in a 42-28 win and the CIF State Football Championship, winning 56-33 win against De La Salle High School.

In 2016, he recorded 70 tackles (48 solo), four interceptions, one pass defensed, one fumble recovery and one tackle for loss. Going into his senior year, He will have another year to grow and possibly win another state tittle. One thing is for certain, Jaiden Woodbey is a play  maker and people will get see him on a national stage at the 2018 Under Armour All-American Game and he was invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Game.

Jaiden Woodbey is the the 32nd player nationally, the third best safety and fourth best player in California. By the time his career at St.John Bosco is over with, those numbers may change for the better.
