The back and forth of the NBA trade deadline can leave your neck sore, especially when tracking the availability, or unavailability of players such as Paul George or Jimmy Butler.
Over at DiMoro Sports I penned an article today that cited Chicago Tribune‘s K.C. Johnson’s report that the Bulls have no plans to trade Jimmy Butler and won’t even entertain an offer from Boston that doesn’t include their 2017 Nets’ first-round pick.
But it appears that the Bulls, who have mostly denied the rumors that Butler will be available, actually want a bit more than that.
Per Brian Robb of 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston, Turner Sports’ David Aldridge said on NBA TV that getting Celtics’ Jae Crowder in return is a must if Chicago is going to consider dealing Butler.

ESPN.com’s Zach Lowe wrote earlier this week that that it seems unlikely that Boston and Chicago will come to terms on a trade involving Butler.
So, if you’re keeping track it seems that the only ways that the Chicago Bulls trade Jimmy Butler to the Boston Celtics is if the Celtics send them the Nets’ 2017 1st-round pick along with Jae Crowder in return.
Also, Jimmy Butler is not available.
Right? Huh?
The Jimmy Butler saga and the Paul George situation, which both sound like great titles for a Netflix series, will continue headed into the NBA trade deadline.
