This Saturday, the class of 2017 will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio. To celebrate this Special Occasion, let’s look at each hall of fame inductee. First off is quarterback Kurt Warner.
From 1995-2009 Kurt Warner was a quarterback for some of the most talented teams in some of the most iconic leagues.
But, At first, he put all of his stock in groceries.
When he wasn’t working at the local super market, he was the starting quarterback for the Iowa Barnstormers in the Arena Football League.
There, he would win an Arena Bowl Title.
After the season, he would return to working at the grocery store. In 2011, the Arena Football League announced that quarterback Kurt Warner who played for the Iowa Barnstormers went into the Arena Football Hall of Fame.
After his stint in the AFL, the St. Louis Rams called and he became the backup quarterback.
Then in a 1999 preseason game in St. Louis Missouri, starting quarterback Trent Green went down with a torn ACL.
The Rams head coach had full confidence in Kurt and during that 1999 season, Kurt Warner and his fellow teammates were known as “The Greatest Show on Turf.
Kurt was in the Gateway to the West from 1999-2003.
After a loss in the 2001 NFL playoffs, he would be released and would become a backup quarterback with the New York Football Giants.
After his very brief stay in the Big Apple, it was time to move on to another team.
So, he flew west to the Arizona Cardinals where they have been the laughing stock of the National Football League. In Arizona, from 2005-2009. Even though those 5 years, he rebuilt a team that was mediocre to a contender.
In his fourth season of being the Cardinals quarterback, he led the team to the Super Bowl in 2008. In that Super Bowl, it looked like Kurt and the Cardinals were taking home the victory for the first time in Franchise history.
But, Big Ben and the Pittsburgh Steelers said otherwise.
The Pittsburgh Steelers took home their sixth Super Bowl Victory. When Kurt Warner decided to hang up his cleats, he left looking like a hall of fame quarterback.

According to NFL.com, Kurt Warner’s final stats were that he finished by completing 65 percent of his passes, threw for impressive 32,344 yards, 208 yards, and 128 interceptions.
Warner was also awarded a Super Bowl MVP, League MVP, Walter Peyton Man of the Year award, AFL Hall of Fame, Iowa Barnstormers Hall of Fame, and his number 13 in Iowa is retired.
After his life as an NFL quarterback came to an end, he decided that he wanted to continue to be in football.
But, this time, he would join the NFL GameDay morning crew at the NFL Network.
Now eight years had passed and this coming Saturday, he will get the ultimate recognition…a bust in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
