Deontay Wilder(38-0) Vs. Bermane Stiverne(25-2-1) Rematch Clash for Wilder’s WBC Heavyweight title– Stiverne places his punches very well together for a heavyweight and unlike most heavyweights he also attacks the body.
Wilder on the other hand has 100% belief in his power so Wilder usually just flashes a jab or two and then fires out haymakers. Stiverne’s best shot is to stay busy by employing his jab and must also stay very close to Wilder to take some steam out of Wilder’s very heavy shots.
I see Wilder using his height advantage and length to keep Stiverne at arm’s length and will then step in closer towards his wounded prey and will catch Stiverne with a nasty right handed bomb over the top of Stiverne’s dome. Give me Wilder by 8th round stoppage.
Shawn Porter(27-2-1) Vs. Adrian Granados(18-5-2)- Granados has a very tough task in front of him in trying to pull a rough and tough dog into a dog fight.
Usually that is how Granados shines best is when he forces his opponents to fight in spots where they are used to coasting.
But as I mentioned above, Porter himself thrives in those nose to nose shootouts. Granados will need to try his best to box Porter to keep him away from carving his mid-section. I am taking Porter by unanimous decision or quite possibly a late round technical knockout.
