Miguel Cotto/Sadam Ali Fight Prediction

1 Min Read

December 2

At New York (HBO):

Miguel Cotto(41-5) Vs. Sadam Ali(25-1)- For starters I never envisioned that Miguel Cotto would be fighting his last fight in 2017. I honestly thought that due to his toe to toe wars that he wouldn’t go beyond 40 fights.

But the Boricua Bomber has had himself a great career winning titles in multiple weight classes and has gotten paid quite handsomely throughout his stellar run.

Now enter Sadam Ali, a young slick boxer that is looking to bring down the curtains on Miguelito in an upsetting manner. Ali will need to box Cotto from a safe distance while working behind double jabs and a rapid straight right hand.

Unfortunately for Ali, I see Cotto’s big fight experience shining through and his body attack will be too much for Ali to handle. Ali will have his moments but not enough to discourage Cotto from busting his pipes.

I’m taking Cotto to batter Ali through the mid rounds and will then break Ali down to stop Ali in the 9th round to close the doors on his great boxing career on a high note.
