Adrian Peterson Lists ‘St. Louis’ Rams As Potential Fit

1 Min Read

Free agent running back Adrian Peterson is still in search of a new home and during an appearance on ESPN’s “NFL Live”, he listed potential teams that he feels could be a fit for him.

What makes this story all the more interesting is that Peterson mentions the St. Louis Rams, apparently unaware that the Rams moved to Los Angeles.

“Obviously, I’ve mentioned Houston [Texans] a couple times. I feel like Green Bay [Packers] wouldn’t be a bad look, as well. Carolina [Panthers]. There’s some options out there. You know, Miami [Dolphins]. Down there in St. Louis. That would be a nice look, too, with Todd Gurley. You see around the league they have a two-back system. Guys are really not pounding the ball 20, 30 times a game, so I think that leaves the door open for a couple opportunities for me.”

Peterson has never played the Rams while they have been in Los Angeles, but it may behoove him to know where NFL teams are located, especially if he wants to lobby to play there next season.
