Colin Kaepernick Collusion Case Reveals Teams Viewed Him As Starter

1 Min Read

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback and current free agent Colin Kaepernick remains out of work, but it’s not due to his play on the field.

According to a report from Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, internal documents indicate that “teams viewed Kaepernick as being good enough not simply to be employed by an NFL team, but to be a starting quarterback for an NFL team.”

Information is starting to come out as part of Kaepernick’s collusion grievance against the NFL, including information from documents and witness testimony during depositions.

The news makes Kaeprnick’s case look stronger and the NFL’s defense look much weaker, but the question remains whether this will lead the veteran signal caller back to an NFL team in the aftermath.

The longer Kaepernick is away from the game, the lower his chances of returning to an NFL become.
