The Colin Kaepernick collusion grievance has taken an interesting turn as attorney Mark Geragos and Kaepernick’s legal team “is expected to seek federal subpoenas in the coming weeks to compel testimony from [President Donald] Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and other officials familiar with the president’s agenda on protesting NFL players”, according to Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson.
Trump has been dedicated to his tirades against players who protest, especially players in the NFL, even though Trump has much bigger, and far more important issues to deal with, this has been somewhat of an obsession of his.
While the legal team of the President will fight this effort, both Trump and the Vice President could be in some hot water if it results in a claim that either violated the law during this public battle with the NFL players, and the league over the anthem issue.
