The Los Angeles Rams have been ordered to pay former NFL running back Reggie Bush $12.45M for a knee injury he suffered in St. Louis back in 2015, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Bush, who was playing for the San Francisco 49ers at the time, slipped on some concrete while he was running out of bounds during a punt return  in a game at the Edward Jones Dome on Nov. 1, 2015.

Bush suffered a season-ending torn lateral meniscus.

“I’m very happy with the verdict,” Bush, who filed the suit back in 2016, told the Post-Dispatch. “The people spoke and decided very fairly.”

In the suit, Bush alleged that and the public stadium authorities allowed “a dangerous condition to exist at the Dome” calling the area where he fell “a concrete ring of death.”

The Rams were ordered on Tuesday to pay Bush, 33, $4.95 million in compensatory damages and $7.5 million in punitive damages.

Attorneys for the Rams said they plan to file a motion for a new trial.

Bush is now working as an analyst for the NFL Network.
