- Lucas Matthysse(39-4) vs. Manny Pacquiao(59-7-2) – At 39 years old and entering the ring with new trainer, Buboy Fernandez, many question if the mighty Pac-man has one more great fight left in him.
- Across from Pacquiao will be The Machine, a power punching aggressive fighter that happens to be a few years younger than the long in the tooth boxing legend.
- I see both fighters having their moments early, but as the fight enters the later rounds Pacquiao’s wear and tear from his past wars will begin to take a toll on the Pac-Man.
- The Machine must look to press Pacquiao and must work the body and must employ his hard stiff jab. I’m going with the younger fighter in Matthysse to edge out Pacquiao in an exciting shootout battle.
- Matthysse by Unanimous Decision or late round stoppage.
