2 Min Read

LAST SEASON IN BIG D!

Last season, Dak, Zeke, Dez, and Whitten entered the 2017 season hoping to lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl birth for the first time since the 1995-1996 season. But with Zeke’s suspension and Dak having a Sophomore slump, the Cowboys finished 2017 with a 9-7 record and second in the NFC East.

Now, with only days to go before the 2018 regular season kicksoff, many changes will impact the Dallas Cowboys. One of which is the departure of two iconic Cowboys that has been here for several years. First is tight end Jason Witten, since 2003, Whitten has only missed one game for the Dallas Cowboys and has been the voice and leadership of the Dallas Cowboys. His voice will instead be in the Monday Night Football booth for ESPN.

The other player that will leave a gapping hole in the team is wide receiver Dez Bryant. In 2010, the Dallas Cowboys drafted with the 24th overall pick in the NFL Draft. During the 2018 off-season the Dallas Cowboys decided to part ways with the productive wide receiver due to his recent change in attitude and several dropped passes in the last few seasons.

PREDICTING THE 2018 DALLAS COWBOYS

With Sean Lee, Dak Prscott, and Zeke Elliott still on the Dallas Cowboys roster, the team has a fresh start heading into the 2018 season. So, with that said, I predict that the Dallas Cowboys will finish the 2018 regular season with a 9-7 record. Where will they be placed? We will have to see. The 2018 regular season kicksoff on September 9, 2018 when the Dallas Cowboys goes to Carolina to take on the Panthers.
