Denver Broncos backup quarterback Chad Kelly was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal trespassing by police in Englewood, Colorado for an incident that took place on Tuesday morning, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Kelly dropped in the NFL draft back in 2017 following character concerns causing multiple red flags for teams.
Kelly was kicked from the Clemson team back in 2014 for “conduct detrimental to the team”, and was arrested eight months later for allegedly punching a bouncer at a bar, threatening to open gun fire in said bar, and getting into a fist fight with responding officers during his arrest.
Kelly likely now faces serious charges upon investigation and the Broncos will likely part ways with the signal caller. Kelly also faces a potential suspension from the league.
