NFL wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who last played for the Houston Texans and is expected to hit free agency this March, has been arrested in Denver, Colorado on a charge of vehicular assault in relation to a car crash that occurred on February 16th.
According to the Denver Post’s Sam Tabachnik, police say that Thomas and two passengers were transported to the hospital after suffered non-life-threatening injuries a one-car rollover accident that occurred earlier this month
According to TMZ, an eye-witness named Michael Tofoya was shocked when people emerged from the car following the accident, which reportedly launched the car 20 feet in the air and flipped over three times.
“I thought those people were dead” Tofoya told TMZ.
