WWE’s Lars Sullivan Issues Statement After Past Racist, Bigoted and Homophobic Comments Uncovered

2 Min Read

WWE superstar Lars Sullivan may see his recent push from the company come to an abrupt halt after a Reddit thread posted earlier this week published comments that Sullivan, real name Dylan Miley, made in forums demonstrating racist, bigoted and homophobic language.

Sullivan issued the following statement to the media, through WWE:

“There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.”

In the controversial posts made back as early as 2008, Sullivan makes hate-filled comments regarding race, members of the LGBT community and people with mental health issues. Sullivan’s push was originally delayed because he suffered from anxiety and panic attacks.

This isn’t the first report of this troubling behavior from Sullivan as back in November of 2018 Ringside News reported about one particular racially-charged exchange that Sullivan engaged in, so this apparently isn’t an isolated incident.

WWE has fired other talent for far less, so if they opt to hold on to Sullivan, and furthermore continue with his push, it will raise some eyebrows. WWE superstars such as Big E and Kalisto have already commented, expressing their feelings about Sullivan’s comments and his current standing in the company.
