1 Min Read

The New Orleans Pelicans are hiring former UConn and WNBA star Swin Cash for a senior-front office position, according to ESPN’s Zach Lowe.

The Pelicans will name Cash vice president of basketball operations and team development, and she will scout as well as help guide player development both on and off the floor, along with assuming other roles within the organization.

Cash has experience in the front office, as she was named the director of franchise development of the New York Liberty back in 2017.

Cash, 39, played 15 seasons in the WNBA and made four All-Star teams while winning 3 WNBA championships. Cash was a member of the 2000 and 2002 National Championship teams at UConn
