Albert Haynesworth Gives Health Update

Jim Wyatt a Tennessee Titans Insider and retweeted by Ian Rapaport an Instagram post of former Defensive Tackle Albert Haynesworth. It shows a picture of him laying in a hospital bed and a captain underneath it. Here’s what he had to say:

Haynesworth was the 15th overall pick in the 2002 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. He played with the Titans for seven seasons. Then he went to the Washington Redskins where he became the highest paid defensive player in NFL history. After spending two seasons in our nations capital. Finally in 2011 he played with two teams. The New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After the 2011 NFL season, the defensive tackle decided he was going to hang up his cleats and retire from the NFL.

After his final game, he accumulated 347 total tackles, 30.5 quarterback sacks, and six forced fumbles. Are thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family and hope he gets a kidney transplant soon and is off to a speedy recovery.
