New York Giants safety Kamrin Moore has been charged with third-degree aggravated assault, according to NJ.com’s Ryan Dunleavy.
Per the report, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office alleges that Moore punched a woman, stepped on her neck, and knocked her unconscious during a domestic violence incident, causing the woman to suffer “bruising, swelling, and abrasions”.
The filing states that the woman in question was involved in a fight with another female at Moore’s residence. Police say that when the alleged victim fell to the ground, Moore attacked her.
Moore signed with the Giants following his release from the New Orleans Saints, and the team has suspended Moore pending the investigation.
