Los Angeles Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins, who recently suffered a torn ACL while training, is in some hot water for allegedly threatening to kill the mother of his child, according to TMZ Sports.
Per the report, Cousins allegedly told his ex-girlfriend, Christy West, that he’d put a “bullet in [her] f*cking head” if she didn’t let their child come to his wedding.
West claims that Cousins made the threat back on August 23rd, a day before Cousins was to marry Morgan Lang.
West recording the threat, and played the audio for court officials, and that recording was obtained by TMZ Sports.
West has filed court documents in Alabama in hopes of securing a restraining order against Cousins, claiming that he also told her he was going to hill her “even if he didn’t have to get his hands dirty doing it.”
West also claims Cousins had choked her during a previous incident.
West is seeking to keep Cousins away from her and their son, but stated that she is open to allowing Cousins to have supervised visitation with their son.
