Jets’ Jamal Adams Rips NFL Over Fine

1 Min Read

New York Jets safety Jamal Adams is not too happy with the NFL after he was fined $21,506 for a rougher the passing penalty issued during Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN’s Rich Cimini.

Adams was fined for his hit on Browns’ quarterback Baker Mayfield during the Jets’ 23-3 loss to the Browns.

Adams took to social media to blast the NFL.

Interestingly enough, Browns’ defensive end Myles Garrett was penalized for roughing Jets quarterback Trevor Siemian, which resulted in Siemian suffering tore ankle ligaments and requiring season-ending surgery.

However, it is not known if Garrett was hit with a fine as well.
