Miami Marlins’ infielder Miguel Rojas is set to serve as the player-manager for the team in their season finale against the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.

Rojas, 30, recently inked a new contract extension with the club, signing a two-year, $10.5 million extension last week, and has been praised by manager Don Mattingly for his work ethic and leadership.

Speaking of Mattingly, the team announced that he will return as manager of the team next season, and signed him to a two-year contract extension last week as well.
