1 Min Read

The Minnesota Twins have made history.

Twins’ second baseman Jonathan Schoop blasted a two-run homer off of Detroit Tigers’ pitcher Jose Ciserno during the 7th inning which made the Twins the first team in major league baseball history to hit 300 homers in a season.

Minnesota added to the mark from there when Twins’ catcher Willians Astudillo hit a solo shot to left field for homer number 301.

The Twins captured the AL Central title on Wednesday.
