New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown is no longer representing Nike as the company announced he is no longer a Nike athlete, according to the Boston Globe.
“Antonio Brown is not a Nike athlete,” a company spokesperson said, without providing any further details as to why.
From helmet issues, to his short stint with the Oakland Raiders, to allegations of sexual misconduct, rape and sexual assault, Brown has been consistently grabbing headlines for all the wrong things.
Per the report, Nike has removed a $100 “Nike Tech Trainer Antonio Brown” shoe from their website, as of Thursday morning.
