A lawsuit filed back on March 10th on behalf of the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension Fund against WWE and Vince McMahon has been voluntarily dismissed.

“Plaintiff Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System hereby files this Notice of Voluntary Dismissal, dismissing the above-captioned case with prejudice, each side to bear its own costs and expenses” the legal document states, in part.
The lawsuit was filed as the XFL launched, alleging that members of WWE’s board failed to conduct a reasonable investigation to ensure that Vince McMahon, who owns the XFL, had not engaged in financial transactions that conflicted with WWE’s interests, thus impacting the board members.
WWE is preparing for WrestleMania 36 amid the coronavirus outbreak, and will air the mostly pre-taped event over two days, in front of no fans, this upcoming weekend.
