Brooklyn Nets center DeAndre Jordan and guard Spencer Dinwiddle have tested positive for the coronavirus and have both opted out of the NBA’s return that is slated to go down next month in Orlando, Florida, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
“Found out last night and confirmed again today that I’ve tested positive for Covid while being back in market,” Jordan announced on his official Twitter page. “As a result of this, I will not be in Orlando for the resumption of the season.”

Dinwiddle also tested positive for the virus, and has been showing symptoms, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Earlier this week, Nets forward Wilson Chandler announced that he was opting out of the NBA’s return to play in July.
Teams that will be participating in the re-booted NBA season must submit their rosters of eligible players to the NBA on Wednesday.
