Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Luis Urias and pitcher Angel Perdomo have both tested positive for the coronavirus ahead of the intake process, according to Brewers manager Craig Counsell (h/t ESPN).

Urias, who was acquired from the Atlanta Braves back in November, underwent surgery in January to repair a broken bone in his left hand, and now will have to recover from COVID-19.

Major League Baseball and the MLB players’ association announced on Friday that 31 players and seven staff members tested positive for the coronavirus during intake for the resumption of training, which is a rate of 1.2%.
