Dolphins’ Vince Biegel Tears Achilles

Miami Dolphins linebacker Vince Biegel, who was one of the surprise bright spots on the 2019 Dolphins, suffered a torn Achilles tendon during practice, according to The Athletic’s Josh Tolentino.

Biegel, who was a key defensive role player for Miami, started 10 games last season, and led the Dolphins with 13 quarterback hits.

The Dolphins were discussing a contract extension earlier this year, but Miami ended up tendering Biegel as a restricted free agent.
