When compiling your draft board ahead of your Fantasy Football season, you should keep your eyes on Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, who should make a big leap in Year 2.
Drafted with the #1 overall pick by the Cardinals, Murray played nearly every snap, and started every single game for the Cardinals last season, setting team rookie records in passing yards, passing attempts, touchdown passes, and also with wins.
Additionally, Murray set a franchise record for rushing yards by a quarterback and had the eighth-highest single-season total in passing yards in Cardinals history.
Murray became only the second rookie to pass for at least 3,500 yards and rush for at least 500 more, from a league standpoint.
Now, fantasy owners should have Murray high on their board, especially with the addition of DeAndre Hopkins via trade from the Houston Texans, and the ascension of running back Kenyan Drake.
With Murray posing a dual threat as a runner and a passer, and with a revamped offense, big numbers should be on the horizon for the Cardinals second-year quarterback.
