Following their departure from WWE and their recent signing with Impact Wrestling, the veteran tag team of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, aka the Good Brothers, are making it their goal to lure current WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles back to the company, where he spent a number of years with prior to coming to WWE.
According to their interview with Sportskeeda, the tag team is determined to lure Styles out of WWE and to Impact Wrestling, with Anderson saying “Ultimately we’re going to talk AJ Styles into coming back to Impact (formerly TNA).
“That’s what we’re doing every single day” Anderson added. “We’re texting him, and telling him to come back.”
Styles addressed their claims during one of his recent Twitch streams saying that he didn’t really know what to make of it while adding that his goal is to retire in WWE.
“Never say never but I also have said that I would like to finish my career in the WWE” Styles said, on his channel. So, we will see.”
Styles complimented Impact adding the Good Brothers, EC3, Eric Young and Heath Slater, all of whom who were released by WWE earlier this year.
