The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran defensive back Tremaine Brock, who visited with the team on Sunday, according to an official team announcement.

Brock, a 10-year NFL veteran, has long been considered one of the league’s premier slot cornerbacks, spent last season with the Arizona Cardinals and then joined the Tennessee Titans following his release from Arizona.

Brock was with the Titans for their impressive playoff run to the AFC Championship game, starting four regular season games and three playoff games.

While Brock was dealing with a nagging hamstring injury last season, he is believed to be fully healthy, and the Jags are looking for him to fill in for Rashaan Melvin who recently opted out of the upcoming season.

Brock has also spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, and the Denver Broncos during his career.
