New York Jets wide receiver Josh Doctson has officially informed the team of his decision to opt out of the upcoming NFL season, according to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo.

Doctson inked a one-year deal to join the Jets, which will toll to the 2021 season, back in February following him being cut by the Minnesota Vikings.

Doctson has also played for the Washington NFL team who drafted him in the first round.
