Nationals’ Stephen Strasburg Has Carpal Tunnel in Hand, Facing Surgery

Washington Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg could potentially miss the entire 2020 season as he has has carpal tunnel syndrome in his pitching hand, according to ESPN.

Nationals manager Davey Martinez made the announcement on Friday, following Strasburg’s visit with a hand specialist on Thursday.

Strasburg, the reigning World Series MVP, was placed on the injured list back o August 15th after he threw just 16 pitches against the Baltimore Orioles.
