Houston Rockets superstar guard Russell Westbrook is expected to miss the first few games of the NBA playoffs due to a quad injury he suffered on Wednesday, according to the Houston Chronicle’s Jonathan Feigen.
Westbrook has been ruled out of Friday’s seeding game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Westbrook woke up with soreness and following an MRI, the team has decided to keep Westbrook shut down as they prepare for playoff action.
