Saints Release Nigel Bradham

1 Min Read

The New Orleans Saints have released veteran linebacker Nigel Bradham less than a month after signing him, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

When he was signed, Bradham seemed to be in the mix to compete for the starting job with the Saints, but ended up working behind Demario Davis, Alex Anzalone and rookie Zack Baun over the first week of padded practices.

Bradham, 30, caused a stir when he initially signed with the team, and his comments comparing the organization with the Philadelphia Eagles, who released him back in February.

“It’s definitely a different type of environment, a different culture, because the last two organizations I went to wasn’t really a winning organization. So when you come to a place where it’s known for winning and known for being in the postseason, you see the different type of culture that they have and the different type of expectations that they have naturally and what they expect out of you as a player,” Bradham said st the time.
