Popular video game streaming platform Twitch is teaming up with a number of twitch streamers for a new award show that will let the fans vote on their favorite games and viral moments of 2020 thus far, according to Twitch.

What is being called ‘Chat’s Choice Awards’ will officially kick off on September 3rd and will hand out 14 awards in a number of categories including “The Savior of Quarantine,” “The Cutest In-Game Moment of the Summer,” and “King of Twitch.”

Nominees have already been selected with Twitch working with a group of streamers to select the finalists, but the winners will be chosen by viewers.

“We’re throwing an all-new award show to celebrate a fantastic summer of gaming. And, because this is Twitch, we’re doing it a bit differently” they said in the post.” Chat’s Choice Awards is an award show where we provide the categories and nominees, but it’s up to creators and their communities (that’s you) to decide the winners.

On September 3rd at 5pm PT, you can tune in to your favorite creator’s channel, and together with the community, vote and decide which nominee deserves top honors in all 14 of the categories. Even better, all creators are invited to host their own version of Chat’s Choice Awards, and any nominee can win in any channel.

You can check out the full list of nominees and categories here.
