49ers Promote Dion Jordan
The San Francisco 49ers have promoted veteran defensive end Dion Jordan from the practice squad onto the active roster, according to an official team announcement.
Jordan provides the 49ers a boost in the wake of injuries to defensive end Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas, who both suffered season-ending ACL tears.
Jordan spent last season with the Las Vegas Raiders collecting five tackles, two sacks, and one pass defensed, and will seehis first action of the season when the 49ers take on the New York Giants this Sunday.
