Broncos’ Von Miller Could Miss Season

Denver Broncos superstar linebacker Von Miller vowed to elevate his play and wreak havoc on quarterbacks at an elite level again, but may need to wait until 2021 to do so.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Miller injured a tendon in his ankle near the end of Tuesday’s practice and is expected to need surgery that likely will end his 2020 season.
Miller underwent an MRI shortly after he suffered the injury, on the “last play” of practice, and the team is still evaluation results.
The Broncos were practicing on the indoor field due to inclement weather.
Miller is scheduled to visit noted foot and ankle specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in Green Bay, Wisconsin, this week for a second opinion about surgery, this Thursday.
Miller has made an impression during camp, putting on more weight while still maintaining his signature quickness, and looked poise to rebound from a 2019 season that saw him dip in production.
