David Njoku

The Cleveland Browns have officially placed veteran tight end David Njoku on the injured reserve list due to a sprained MCL.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Njoku is expected to only miss three weeks of action.

Njoku, 24, caught three passes for 50 yards and the only Brown’s touchdown before leaving the game on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Njoku should be of value upon his return, but given the continued struggles of Bake Mayfield, fantasy owners may want to monitor him for a game or 2 before deciding on a starting spot.
