1 Min Read

Indianapolis Colts rookie wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. developed compartment leg syndrome in his calf after the Colts’ game Sunday and has undergone surgery, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

The rather serious injury was apparently caught early before things got serious.

According to the report, Pittman is expected to return the game after the Colts’ bye week, which would be Week 8, and is expected to regain his role upon returning.
