Jaguars Promote Sidney Jones from Practice Squad

The Jacksonville Jaguars, who are coming off a shocking upset win over the Indianapolis Colts to open the season, are promoting cornerback Sidney Jones from their practice squad, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Jones takes the place of defensive back Jarrod Wilson, who suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday’s game against the Colts.

Jacksonville will now have Jones available for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
